Jack W. Peters is the Founder and Lead Instructor of American Explosives Group.

Welcome to American Explosives Group! Established in 2008, Jack W. Peters is the founder and lead instructor. Jack and his team serve the professional explosives and blasting community from Las Vegas, Nevada with a training range in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

World Class Training

We are the world’s premier training company and the only known company providing hands-on explosives training. Our clientele includes:

Those who want to have explosives and blasting as a career.
Those who would like to obtain their own ATF Blaster’s License.
Those who need training hours to maintain a state Blaster's License.
Military veterans who would like to transition to commercial blasting.

Military Unit Training

We work with EOD and Combat Engineer units from all of the U.S. Military Branches. Federal government bureaucracy can make explosive training at our range easier and more efficient. We are patriots who are honored to help our military with their training and operational goals. Our associate instructors are also Army and USMC combat veterans.

DOW Military Contractor Research and Testing

We have ranges available for specialty research and training. This includes services for UAVs and UGVs.

Specialty Blasting and Consultation

If you have a specialty, emergency or blasting jobs that need consultation, call us. We have a network of the county’s best blasts and specialists for anyjob, anywhere.

Training for First Responders and Public Safety Agencies

We have our C-TEAM training program for emergency responders who are first on the scene to deal with explosives, IEDs, active shooters, and terroristic mass casualty events. Look for your comprehensive online training program to be released soon.

For those interested in breaching, we also have our B-TEAM training program that covers door, wall, and obstacle breaching. This includes using explosive charges, water impulse charges, and IED explosives disruptors. This program can include scenario and live fire training.

Explosives in Television and Movies

Jack provides on-air talent for explosives and blasting for film. This includes logistics and safety consulting. This includes working with your insurance company to get specific blasting approved.
